New Feature: National Teams & World Cup (1)

National Teams are here! VIP managers can now apply to run one of 32 national sides alongside their club job, get elected by the community, pick a 25-man squad from the entire pool of players holding that nationality, and compete through a full World Cup qualifying campaign and, if they get there, the World Cup itself. Elections run every 2 seasons: any VIP manager can apply, and any manager who owns a player of that nationality gets a vote. Elected managers serve a 2-season term, set their own squad and tactics, and go up against the other 31 nations in 8 qualifying groups. The top 2 from each group make the 16-team World Cup, played out as a full group stage and knockout bracket during a dedicated break in the club calendar.
