1. Who We Are
Goal Legends is operated by Stable Studios. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Goal Legends, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: your manager name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text), and date of birth (collected at registration to verify you meet our minimum age requirement).
Gameplay data: your club, players, transfers, match results, and other in-game activity.
Technical data: your IP address, recorded at login for security and abuse-prevention purposes (e.g. detecting suspicious login activity).
Cookies: an authentication cookie that keeps you logged in, plus advertising cookies set by our ad provider (Google AdSense). See Section 4 and the Advertising section below.
3. How We Use Your Information
To operate your account and gameplay, to send you account-related emails (such as confirming your email address), to keep the service secure, and to respond to support requests or reports you submit to us.
4. Third-Party Services
We use a small number of third-party services to operate Goal Legends:
ZeptoMail (Zoho): sends account-related emails (confirmation links, notifications) on our behalf.
Cloudflare: provides security and performance infrastructure in front of our servers. Cloudflare may process technical connection metadata (such as IP address) as part of this service.
Google AdSense: displays advertisements to fund the game's development and hosting. AdSense may set cookies and use your IP address/device information to serve and measure ads. If you're in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you'll be shown a consent option before any advertising cookies are set, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account (see Section 7), your personal identifiers are removed within 30 days; gameplay/league history involving your club may remain in anonymized form to preserve the accuracy of league standings and match history for other players.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to certain uses of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at admin@goallegends.com, or use the Delete Account option available from your account menu once logged in.
7. Account Deletion
Logged-in users can request account deletion at any time from the account menu. We process deletion requests within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
Goal Legends is not directed at children under 13. If we become aware that we've collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure password hashing. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
