Reputation Now Has to Be Earned

Every club in Goal Legends used to start with a hand-authored reputation number, and that number quietly decided how strong its opening squad was: a club seeded with reputation 90 got noticeably better players than one seeded at 27, before a single ball had ever been kicked. That's the opposite of what a management game is supposed to feel like. A new club should start weak and get built up, not start with a head start baked into the data files.

Every club starts identical now

Player generation no longer looks at a club's reputation at all, that bonus is gone completely, not just zeroed out. Every fresh squad, in every country, in every division, is generated from the exact same low-strength range: weak attributes across the board, but potential left on its old wide range, so a struggling club's own academy or transfer market can still turn up a genuine wonderkid. Reputation itself now starts at a flat zero for every club too, and there's nothing left in the data that quietly favors one club over another before the season even begins.

Earned back through results, not handed out

Starting everyone at zero only works if reputation actually goes somewhere afterward, so it now moves with what a club actually does: a small nudge for every league win or loss, a bigger swing at the end of each season based on final league position, and a real jump for getting promoted, relegated, or winning a cup. Winning the Elite Champions Cup is worth the single biggest jump in the game. None of this existed before this change, reputation used to just sit at whatever number it was seeded with forever.

A floor that was hiding in three different places

Dropping player strength this low exposed something the old system never had to deal with: the wage table, the transfer value curve, and the value calculator all quietly assumed no player would ever fall below a certain overall rating, and each one had its own hardcoded floor around that number. Below it, every player, no matter how weak, would have been priced and paid identically. All three needed their own fix before a genuinely weak rookie could actually be worth what a rookie should be worth.
